Our "Why"

Californians are grappling with rising costs of living, a severe housing shortage and escalating climate disasters, including extreme heat, wildfires, floods and drought. These challenges disproportionately impact lower income and Black and Brown Californians, but they threaten the health and well-being of all Californians and endanger our economic future.

Our status quo is not inevitable—we can solve these problems. Working together to build broad political momentum, we will create a vibrant and inclusive economy, ensuring economic opportunity for future generations.
