Erin has decades of experience developing successful campaigns for clients with a focus on working with nonprofit organizations and foundations. She creates winning messaging strategies for complex issues and leads large-scale public affairs campaigns to drive policy change.

In California, her work has included campaigns to reduce the cost of housing; increase homeownership and generational wealth-building opportunities for communities of color; and incentivize development in areas that will help protect Californians from increasingly severe climate impacts. Erin also works on campaigns to improve water and food security and is engaged in a multistate communications effort to elevate nature-based solutions and conservation strategies to protect the Colorado River, as well as an initiative that promotes sustainable fishing practices to support a healthy ocean.

Prior to founding Boltz Public Affairs, Erin was the California Practice leader for Dewey Square Group and a Senior Vice President at Spitfire Strategies, both national public affairs firms. She is a former press secretary and speechwriter for U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
